CRA Liens on Your Property
When you have unfiled returns or taxes owing on your account, one of the tactics the CRA uses is to lien your property; often this is your family’s home.
The government will often not release the lien until your returns are filed or your tax debt is repaid. Canada Revenue Agency can then seize and sell the property after paying any prior encumbrances. Thousands of liens are filed by the CRA every year.
We know what needs to be done to get those liens lifted!
